From Suffolk.

The intelligence which we receive from this point of interest is exceedingly meagre, but enough is known to confirm the reported capture of a battery of five places by the enemy on Sunday night. The place composing this battery are said to have been very excellent ones, and were manned by a company from Fauquier county, commanded by Capt. Stribling. An infantry company which was stationed at Keeling's farm to support the battery is reported to have been captured at the same time. No particulars have yet reached us of the circumstances counseled with the capture. On Monday morning the enemy shelled the woods around Suffolk in every direction.
