Subject Description: Replicating the Herakles Farnese version of the Weary Herakles type, this statue depicts a nude, aged, Herakles leans on his club (over which is draped the skin of the Nemean Lion), tilts his bearded head down, steps forward slightly with his left foot, and holds the apples of the Hesperides in his right hand, behind his back.

Condition: Nearly complete

Condition Description: The statue is missing the head (earlier restored) and left hand; surface is severely corroded (from underwater exposure).
