I should have
been most glad, men of the jury, had the difference which I have had with
Aphobus, and also that in which I am now involved with this man Onetor, his
brother-in-law, not come about. Accordingly, I made to them both many fair
offers, but I have been unable to secure any reasonable action from either of
them. On the contrary, I have found this man far harder to deal with, and more
worthy of punishment than the other.
