SENUS

SENUS (Σένος or Σαῖνος, Ptol. 7.3.2), a river in the land of the Sinae (China) which ran into the Sinus Magnus between the South-horn Cape (Νότιον κέρας), S. of Ambastus, and Rabana. Probably the modern Saigon or Saung. (Comp. Forbiger, Geogr ii. p. 478.)
