Cf. Apol. 23 A: “ὄνομα δὲ τοῦτο λέγεσθαι σοφὸς εἶναι” . Rpb. 428 E: “ὅσοι ἐπιστήμας ἔχοντες ὀνομάζονταί τινες εἶναι” . HDT.5.25(ter). 7.154: “ἀπεδέχθη πάσης τῆς ἵππου εἶναι ἵππαρχος”. PIND. O. 10.63-4: “μάτρωος δ᾽ ἐκάλεσσέ νιν” | “ἰσώνυμον ἔμμεν”. Cf. Il. 17.150-1: “Σαρπηδόν”(“α”) . . . | “κάλλιπες Ἀργεΐοισιν ἕλωρ καὶ κύρμα γενέσθαι”.
