ἢ καὶ ἄλλα . ἄλλα must be coordinated with αἰσχρολογοῦντας, not with νήφοντας, so that Hartman's correction (καί for ἢ καί), though scarcely necessary, is an improvement, and may be right. μαινομένοις. As in the Eumenides, Ajax, Hercules Furens. γνωστέον κτλ. cf. 409 A.
