[57] ἀμφίς ‘apart,’ i. e. each severally.

ἐεικοσάβοιον. We should perhaps read “ἐεικοσάβοια” (with Bekker), as in 1. 431, where the word is used as a substantive, ‘the value of twenty oxen.’ Here it would be in apposition to τιμήν.
