[209] οὐτιδανός=‘good for nothing,’ ‘profitless,’ whether to others or to one's own self. Here in the latter sense, as explained by the words (211) “ἕο δ᾽ αὐτοῦ πάντα κολούει”, ‘he cuts short all his own welfare.’
