[183] οἷον δή is equivalent in meaning to “ὅτι τοῖον”, ‘in that thou hast devised such clever words as these to speak;’ or, ‘To think what clever words thou hast devised!’ used as an exclamation. Cp. Od.2. 239; 22.217; Il.2. 230; 5.578; 6.166; 14. 95; 17. 173 etc.
