[751] πλάζων, driving out of their course, as A 59, B 132 etc. The correct accent is ῥ́ηγνυξι. It is really for “ῥήγνυντι”, an uncontracted form; and so we should read “ἵστασι, τίθεισι”, etc. “ῥηγνῦσι” was read by Ar., and is found in almost every place, as though contracted for “ῥηγνύουσι”. Cf. H. G. § 87. 2.
