[615] εὐνάς, cf. 2.783, where the word is more appropriately used of Typhoeus couched beneath the earth. Here it seems to mean only dwellings. The scholia compare Pindar N. i. 3 “Ὀρτυγία δέμνιον Ἀρτέμιδος”.
