[337] βλεμεαίνων: a word of unknown significance recurring only in the same phrase (12.42, etc.) and corruptly in Batr. 274.Hesych. gives “ἀβλεμής: ἄτολμος, ἀτερπής, παρειμένος, οἱ δέ, κακός”, and “ἀβλεμές: ἀσθενές”. Cf. Schol. “Τ” on 12.42, “ἀβλεμής: ἀόργητος”. The scholia explain by “γαυριῶν, ἐπαιρόμενος”, and the like.
