[192] La R. suggests that the variant of DT may represent an original “κεκάλυπτο, ὁ δ᾽ ἀσπίδος, ἄῤ” being inserted to remove the hiatus. But writing “ἐκ πλήρους” is not so rare in the MSS. as to justify this conclusion.
