[147] 147-48 were athetized by Aph.and Ar. on the grounds that they are needless, as Iris and Apollo must obey in any case, and unsuited to Hera, because the commands of Zeus are not such as she wishes to see carried out. These are quite inadequate; a speech of a single line is a rare thing in H., and in this case 146 would be particularly curt.
