[381] ἕπευ, better “ἕπἐ”, which was read by Ar. in 10.146, though there is no mention of any variant here. συνώμεθα, come to terms, “συνίημι”, H. G. § 81, a doubtful contracted form. Fick suggests “συνηόμεθ᾽” (Menrad “συνειόμεθ᾽”） “ὠκυπόροισιν” or as an alternative “συνήμεθα”, with the regular subj. lengthening, from “συνέμεθα”. But this could only be on a false analogy, -“ε”- being here the verbstem, not the thematic vowel. Ar. wrote “συνὥμεθα”, with interaspiration, and so “συνἡμοσύνας”, agreements, 22.261.
