[748] “ἀέθλιον, ἀέθλια” Bekker, cf. Od. 21.4 “τόξον . . ἀέθλια καὶ φόνου ἀρχήν”, and “λοισθήϊα” below. “ἄεθλον ϝοῦ” and “ἄεθλον ἑϝοῦ” are both metrically wrong. For the constr. see “βασιλῆος ἄεθλα” 631.
