[304] ἐξ Αἰσύμηθεν (or “Αἰσύμνηθεν”, as Zen., Aph., and Ar. wrote) of course goes with ὀπυιομένη, taken as a wife from A. The town is not elsewhere named, so we cannot say which form is right. Byz. Steph. identifies it with Oisyme, a Greek colony on the Thracian coast opposite Thasos.
