[375] καὶ δὲ τόδ᾽: “καὶ τόδε” Brandreth. ἔπος, proposal, which, however, is expressed not in a direct form, but politely as a supposition; as though ‘make to them this proposition; whether they will be willing,’ etc. It is not necessary to supply any apodosis to “αἴ κε”.
