[647] δάος, a by-form of “δαΐς”, used collectively, occurring only in the repetitions of this line, Od. 4.300, Od. 7.339, Od. 22.497, Od. 23.294. In all cases there is respectable MS. authority for (“ἐκ μεγάρου”?) “δᾶιδας”.
