[109] As usual τούτω refers to the person addressed (iste), τώδε to the speaker. θεράποντε: Eurymedon (11.620) and Sthenelos. κομείτων: 3rd dual imper., an isolated form in Greek; for 1.338ἔστων” is probably a plural. See Curtius Verb. ii.^{2} 67, van L. Ench. p. 295, H. G. §§ 5, 173. The form and contraction throw suspicion on the word, yet the want of analogy makes late coinage improbable.
