[441] “ὅτι πρὸς τὴν λέγουσανἀλλ᾽ ἄγε νῦν ἐλέαιρεκαὶμὴ παῖδ᾽ ὀρφανικὸν θείηςοἰκείως ἀπήντηκεν: δὲ διασκευαστὴς ἐπλανήθη”, An.; i.e. the reference in Hector's words is to 431-2, and has been disturbed by the interpolation of 433-9 — an argument hardly borne out by the facts. (“διασκευάζειν” in the scholia = interpolate, Lehrs Ar. ^{2} 334. But this sense seems to be derived from some tradition of an ‘arrangement’ of the whole text.)
