[175] “Πολυδώρη: Ζηνόδοτος δὲ “Κλεοδώρην” φησίν, Ἡσιόδου καὶ τῶν ἄλλων “Πολυδώρην” αὐτὴν καλούντων”, Schol. T. We know nothing further of her. As her son must have been Achilles' nephew, we should have expected the relationship to have been alluded to. On these grounds, the scholia tell us, some held that this Peleus was merely a namesake of Achilles' father.
