[146] οἱ ἀμφὶ Πρίαμον, the party consisting of Priam and the rest. The idiom by which a man is included in ‘those about’ him is familiar in H. as well as in Attic; see 2.445, 4.295, 6.436, 15.301, etc. The change to the nominative in 148 is merely for the sake of convenience, and does not indicate that Ukalegon and Antenor were in any way different from the rest. The three names in 147 are acc. to 20.238 those of sons of Laomedon, and therefore brothers of Priam.
