[603] χωόμενος, the participle is like that after “παύεσθαι”, etc. παρ́ηορος, flighty, see note on 7.156 and compare 3.108 “ὁπλοτέρων ἀνδρῶν φρένες ἠερέθονται”. So also Archil. fr. 94 “τίς σὰς παρήειρε φρένας”; and fr. 56. 5 “νόον παρήορος”, Theokr. xv. 8 “πάραρος. ἀεσίφρων,” 20.183.
