[579] It is indifferent whether we take δικάσω as fut. indic. or aor. subj. I myself will decide by bringing the matter to the test of an oath. (The translation I myself will plead my cause gives a less vigorous sense, and does not suit the use of the verb.) μ᾽ = “μοι”, see 12.211 “ἀεὶ μέν πώς μοι ἐπιπλήσσεις ἀγορῆισιν”.
