[157] γόοιο .. ἆσαι, the connexion is ‘they may, for me (“καί”), take their fill of lament; but for the moment,’ etc.; i.e. I do not wish to cut their mourning short, but now is not the time for it. The idea is expanded in 19.155 ff. (19.171 = 158; for “ὅπλεσθαι” see on 19.172).
