[827] τό γε, for that matter; cf. Od. 17.401μήτ᾽ οὖν μητέρ᾽ ἐμὴν ἅζευ τό γε μήτέ τιν᾽ ἄλλον”. But it looks almost as if the line were a reminiscence of 14.342μήτε θεῶν τό γε δείδιθι μήτέ τιν᾽ ἀνδρῶν ὄψεσθαι”, where the “τό” is probably governed by “ὄψεσθαι”.
