[235] τιμ́ησασθαι MSS.; Stephanus, with Eust., reads -“εσθαι”. The future looks more natural, I ween that I shall honour thee in the future; but the aor. is at least equally good in the sense I intend, am minded, to honour thee, as 24.560νοέω δὲ καὶ αὐτὸς Ἕκτορά τοι λῦσαι”, and 3.98φρονέω δὲ διακρινθήμεναι ἤδη” (see note there).
