[622] “οὕτως ἐσδύσεαι” (not “ἐνδύσεαι”) “σχεδὸν ἅπασαι: οὐδέποτε γὰρ Ὅμηρος τῆι ἐν ἀντὶ τῆς εἰς κέχρηται”, Did. H. does, however, use “ἐνδύω” with acc., but only of putting on clothes. The sense is exactly given by our colloquial ‘go in, enter, for the javelin-throwing.’
