[550] μιν, Erechtheus; for cows and ewes were offered to female goddesses. The festival where these offerings were made was the (annual) ‘lesser Panathenaia,’ in honour of the two founders of agriculture. This naturally finds mention in the poems whose final redaction it appears to have occasioned.
