[79] “ἀμφέχανε, κατέφαγε καὶ κατέπιε”, Schol. B γεινόμενόν περ, at my very birth, cf. 10.71, 20.128. Zenodotos of Mallos (see 13.731) concluded from this line that Homer was a Chaldaean (i.e. astrologer)!
